Why dry wall nail fastening effect is good?

Release time:

The simple way to judge whether the drywall nail is eccentric is to put it on the table with a round head to see if the threaded part is vertical and should be in the middle of the head.

Different nails have different uses, and different nails have different effects and use environments. Now, a nail with a good fastening effect, that is, a dry wall nail will be introduced. Why is the fastening effect of this nail better?

In general, this nail is not a smooth structure. This kind of nail has obvious characteristics in appearance. The corner head shape is used, and the nail itself uses the thread shape. This special structure greatly increases the bite force and friction between the nail and the connector, resulting in a better fastening effect.

In fact, this nail can be subdivided into one type: double line fine tooth, single line phase tooth and white drill nail. These three types of nails belong to the dry wall nail series. According to the specific use requirements, it is divided into three categories. So where is this nail suitable for use?

A double thread fine tooth is suitable for the connection between gypsum board or metal keel due to its good lubricity and high impact speed. However, the thickness of these metal keels should be controlled within 0.8mm, otherwise it will exceed the scope of use. Compared with the former, another single-line thick tooth is suitable for the connection of gypsum board and wooden keel. For the third type, from its own structural characteristics, it is more suitable for the connection between gypsum boards or metal keels with a thickness of no more than 2.3mm.

These three kinds of nails belong to the dry wall nail series, which have effective fastening effect. In addition, such nails are considered important and good in the fastening series. It is widely used in the connection of suspended ceiling, suspended ceiling, gypsum board and metal.

The criteria for purchasing dry wall nails are as follows:

1. The head should be round (this is also the general standard for all round head screws). Due to the production process, the nail heads of drywall nails produced by many manufacturers may not be very round, and some may even be slightly square. The problem is that it cannot exactly match the gypsum board after screwing in. The concentric circles rotate around a point, which should be well understood.

2. The tip should be sharp, especially when used on light steel keels. The acute angle of the dry wall nail is generally required to be between 22 and 26 degrees, and the acute angle of the head is required to be full without drag wire or crack. This "tip" is very important for the drywall nail, because the drywall nail is screwed directly and there is no prefabricated hole, so the tip also assumes the function of drilling. Especially when used on the light steel keel, the bad end will not enter, which directly affects the use. According to national standards, wallboard nails should be able to penetrate 6mm iron plates within 1 second.

3. No eccentricity. The simple way to judge whether the drywall nail is eccentric is to put it on the table with a round head to see if the threaded part is vertical and should be in the middle of the head. If the screw is eccentric, the problem is that the power tool will shake when screwing in. Shorter screws are available.
